I was learning to add in tens.   Now I know I need to split the numbers into tens..  It was tricky because I didn't know the answer because it was hard to keep track of the numbers.

Making Connections

I was learning to think about what connection I would say between the book and myself.  Now I know a connection is when we talk about the book and ourself.
